The Claragh Bridge Vintage Club will celebrate their 9th annual cross-community vintage, classic and agricultural show this Saturday 28th July at B175 Ballynahinch Road, Drumaroad outside Castlewellan, starting at 11am. The show promises to be a popular family day out with all sorts of activities going on through the day including all sorts of vehicle exhibits, events, competitions, musical entertainment and much more. They are also opening their old style Blacksmith’s shop to the public and demonstrating all the old tools and equipment.

The day is particularly important to Autism Initiatives NI as local Councillor Patrick Clarke has arranged for Autism Initiatives to be their chosen charity this year and will donate the proceeds of the show to us. The expected donation will be in the region of £3000 and the majority of the money to go to Newcastle Daycare/Garden after the break in and potato stealing! Since starting in 2004 this amazing cross community project has raised more than £30,000 for local voluntary and charitable groups and it a real privilege for us to be partnered with them this year!

Both our social enterprises will be there on the day selling and promoting the products made by our brilliant trainees! For more information follow the link below:
