As you are all aware there have been a number of recent changes within the organisation. Alan Hanna, our new National Director made the decision to restructure the senior management team in order to improve the effectiveness of the organisation as we move forward.

Alan decided to strengthen the staffing infrastructure at an operational level and has brought in two new service coordinators; Paul Barrott and Clare Murtagh.

Alan says, “The purpose of the restructuring is to group accommodation services together to focus on service quality and to share learning experiences across all these services. The extra Service Co-coordinators will be able to provide more support to their services. On the non-Accommodation side there are excellent opportunities to develop more services for people with autism to build on the success of our day opportunities, social enterprises, counseling, floating support, outreach and the One Stop Shop.”

“The new structure allows us to focus on these two distinct roles for the organization. We are delighted that Clare Murtagh and Paul Barrott are joining our team of Service Co-coordinators. They are both internal appointments illustrating our commitment to give colleagues new opportunities where possible.

At the Assistant Director level Grainne Close will be responsible for Learning & Development, Human Resources and all Accommodation based services. George Smith will take responsibility for all of our Non-Accommodation based services. George says, “The recent restructuring is an exciting opportunity for everyone with the main aim of improving the high quality services we provide.” For more information regarding the recent changes staff may make enquiries from their team leaders, managers or Assistant Directors.
